'BOND 25' Details Confirmed
Major details of the 25th James Bond instalment were confirmed today, with the long awaited official announcement from Producers Barbara Broccoli & Michael G. Wilson and EON Productions that British Academy Award winning director Danny Boyle will helm Daniel Craig's final outing as Ian Flemings James Bond 007.
The announcement also included the Production start date of the 3rd of December 2018. Expect the usual Title and Cast press event a few days before. One of the biggest questions was also answered, with Universal Pictures being revealed as MGM's choice to partner with in distributing the film in Australia as well as Internationally. Annapurna Pictures will handle the US domestic distribution. The film will be the first time since 2002's 'Die Another Day' that MGM has distributed.
Bond 25 will debut in the UK on the 25th of October 2019 (like Spectre it will more than likely be the same evening as the Royal World Premiere, of which we are looking to attend), with the US release slated for the previously announced 8th of November, we predict the Australian release date will be Thursday the 14th of November.
Universal Pictures Chair Donna Langley is quoted as saying, "The unparalleled combination of Danny's innovative filmmaking and Daniel's embodiment of 007 ensured we simply had to be partners in the next chapter of this iconic series". This enthusiasm along with the usual steady hands of EON Productions must be music to the ears of every Bond fan around the world.
