Director Danny Boyle OUT of Bond 25

In a brief statement by Eon Productions this morning, it was announced that Director Danny Boyle has decided that he will no longer be directing the latest 007 instalment expected in late 2019.

This coming after the confirmation of his involvement in May. His split from the production was cited as being 'due to creative differences', it was co-announced by the producers Michael G. Wilson, Barbara Broccoli along with James Bond actor Daniel Craig.

Interestingly Daniel Craig was part of the announcement, signalling no change in actor or his involvement to ward off more media speculation as to the person portraying Ian Fleming's man on screen.

Of course with this news, the Bond fandom around the world has in a way gone into meltdown. With a lot of speculation and ideas of who should be the next director for the 25th Bond film. With name's like Christopher Nolan, Yann Demange, Christopher McQuarrie, experienced Bond directors Sam Mendes and (our favourite) Martin Campbell named by fans around the world.

As well a lot of speculation surrounds whether production will be delayed, to this we think it will not be and that Eon will have a contingency in place, and more than likely have had knowledge of Boyle's departure for a small amount of time before announcing it.

It also puts into question however the involvement of several of Boyle's recruits including screenwriter John Hodge, production designer Mark Tildesley, as well as Danny Boyle's ex-wife Gail Stevens who we believe was going to be working alongside regular Casting director Debbie McWilliams.

Another followup announcement is expected shortly......
