At long last the Cast for the 25th James Bond Installment has been officially unveiled by Eon Productions, head lined by Oscar Winner Rami Malek.
The Cary Fukunaga directed film will be released April next year, with an expected Australian release of the 23rd of April 2020. Starring Daniel Craig as James Bond, the film sees the expected return of Lea Seydoux, reprising her role of Madeleine Swann from 'Spectre', joining the cast is the heavily rumoured Academy Award Winner Rami Malek who will play the Main Villain.
The film's cast was revealed online from the iconic Bond location of Ian Fleming's Goldeneye Estate in Jamaica, Cast and Crew had arrived yesterday via a chartered HiFly flight from London's Stansted Airport into Kingston, Jamaica.
Mi6 regulars Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and Rory Kinnear will return for what is expected to be Daniel Craig's final outing as Ian Fleming's James Bond 007. Also confirmed was the long awaited return of fan favourite Felix Leiter actor Jeffrey Wright.
Others to join the cast include Bond girls Cuban actress Ana de Armas most famous for her role in Blade Runner 2049, and English actress Lashana Lynch, the long rumoured Billy Magnussen also was confirmed, David Dencik joins the production, as does Dali Bensallah. Rami Malek joined the broadcast with a pre-recorded video message from New York as well as a Live appearance on Good Morning America, He mentioned that he "will be making sure Mister Bond does not have an easy ride of it (in the film)"
Locations confirmed by Cary Fukunaga were as already known Norway, London, Jamaica and Matera, Italy. Filming begins this coming weekend in Jamaica with what was described as the beginning of the film where "Bond is not on active duty", said Producer Barbara Broccoli. With Bond's house set having been built already on the Caribbean locale.
Most importantly with this press event, Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson confirmed that there is no Title for the film as yet.
